Heimir Hallgrimsson says he won’t interfere in Evan Ferguson’s next step at club level as the striker continues to struggle for minutes at West Ham.
The Ireland boss also added that he fully expects his team to be preparing for the World Cup by this time next year, and stressed that captain Séamus Coleman remains in his thoughts for the tournament and the qualifying campaign which begins in the autumn.
