Coalition eyeing a social media ban for younger teenagers

Media Minister Patrick O’Donovan has said the Government is examining ways to force tech companies to comply with age-verification rules for teenagers.
Mr O’Donovan was speaking to the Sunday Independent after Tánaiste Simon Harris mooted plans to ban social media for children aged under 16, following similar moves in Australia and New Zealand.
