Munster play host to provincial rivals Ulster in URC action this evening.

Back-to-back URC defeats have left Munster in ninth place, outside of the play-off spots, while, more importantly, the province’s place in next season’s Champions Cup is also seriously at risk.

For Ulster, their hopes of snatching a late play-off spot are still alive. Richie Murphy’s men currently sit in 12th place, but such is the congested nature of the URC table, Ulster are only three points off the all-important top eight.

Kick-off at Thomond Park is 7.35pm.

This time Crowley makes no mistake. We’re all level once more.

Munster strike back!

Murphy’s low kick is charged down by Bernie, who storms over the line for a try

While Crowley struggles, Murphy thrives. That was a superb kick from tight angle

Wow. Ulster strike straight back. A superb move across the 22, before Henderson breaks through before popping the ball into the arms of Postlethwaite who scores in the corner.

Great try

Jack Crowley hasn’t brought his kicking boots today. That’s another missed conversion.

It’s level!

Great footwork from Peter O’Mahoney down the right wing before he feeds Farrell to score from close range.

Tom O’Toole comes on for Robert Baloucoune to plug the gap in the Ulster scrum

Who needs 15 men?

Ulster win a penalty 20 metres from the sticks. It’s converted by Murphy. Ulster lead by five.

It’s a yellow card for Wilson. He’s lucky not to see red. Ulster down to 14 men for the next ten minutes.

It is a TMO check as Ulster’s Scott Wilson could be in trouble for a head shot on Gavin Coombes. This could be a red

The Munster try was remarkably similar to the Ulster try.

Munster won a penalty, kicked for the corner, won the line-out and then had several attempts from close range to score. Eventually Michael Milne bundled over the line for his first try for Munster

Poor miss from Crowley. Ulster lead by two

Better stuff from Munster, who breach the Ulster 22 for the first time.

They’re awarded a penalty as Henderson fails to roll away at the break down. Crowley kicks for the corner. It’s a lineout on the five.

Murphy finds the target from a tight angle. Impressive kick

Ulster find themselves camped inside the Munster five from a line-out. Ulster battered at the Munster line for over a minute, before Iain Henderson feeds Stuart McCloskey. The Bangor Bulldozer smashes over the line from close range

A Ulster penalty is kicked for touch. The away side have a line-out five metres out

Peter O’Mahoney gets up high to disrupt the Ulster line-out. Classic O’Mahoney

Munster’s Jack Crowley gets the game underway with a kick deep into the Ulster half
