Tyla hit the red carpet with a bevy of high-profile guests and A-list attendees for the 2025 Met Gala on Monday in New York City. The Grammy Award-winning singer joined the likes of Colman Domingo, Rihanna, Simone Biles and more at the annual gala ahead of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s spring exhibition.
For the occasion, Tyla opted for a fitted, off-the-shoulder dress courtesy of Jacquemus. The “Water” singer’s floor-length dress also came with a dramatic coat with a long train featuring the same black and white striped effect.

Tyla’s look also paid homage to André Leon Talley. Stylist Law Roach, who collaborated with Tyla and also dressed Zendaya for the 2025 Met Gala, confirmed the inspiration for Tyla’s look via Instagram Stories, sharing a portrait of Talley in a similar black and white striped garment.
Along with her dress, Tyla debuted her new blond hairdo. The look featured a bevy of curls that framed Tyla’s face with a bold pixie cut. Her makeup included bold brows, a smoky eye and a dark lip for added definition, depth and contrast.

The singer opted to go minimal with her jewelry pieces, favoring instead a pair of studs and a small string necklace. Last April, Tyla was named the latest ambassador for Pandora and starred in a new campaign featuring pieces the singer curated.
“Pandora Styled by Tyla” highlights the singer’s curated selection of jewelry from the brand. Each charm represents a milestone in the singer’s life, with emphasis on the symbolism behind each charm featured on bracelets and necklaces.
