Trudy Moses, 72, and Nancy Kirk, 79, are retired teachers who worked for over three decades in New York City schools. They tell Rolling Stone they protested for abortion access in the 1960s and against President Trump after his first inauguration — and attended the march to remind elders that everyone is vulnerable under the current administration. “We’re retired, so we can come out and fight for the people that have to be working today,” Moses says.
