Internet sensation JoJo Siwa is currently making waves after entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The American popstar and influencer, 21, has been on quite the journey since entering the ITV reality show.
Within days of walking in, they faced homophobic abuse from Hollywood’s Mickey Rourke.
He received a warning for his actions, and was later removed for his behaviour towards fellow housemates Chris Hughes and Ella Rae Wise.
JoJo has also struck up an unlikely friendship with Love Island star Chris, who defended them during the altercation.
Fans of the show were quick to assume that there was more to their friendship than meets the eye – despite JoJo’s relationship with actor, presenter and DJ Kath Ebbs on the ‘outside world’.
The couple went public in January this year, with JoJo saying she was ‘so happy’ and in a ‘very mature relationship’.

‘It’s taught me so much about life. It’s taught me so much about love and respect, and it’s a beautiful thing,’ she told People.

‘It’s different in more ways than I can count. I wouldn’t even know what to say the biggest is ‘cause just everything is so different and special.’
Kath slammed Mickey’s comments towards JoJo last week, saying that he ‘looked like a f**king foot’ and that his comments were ‘rooted in misogyny and violence’.
The Australian has had roles in a number of short films, and played Faux Bek in 2023 queer romcom Me & Her(pes).
In 2022, in the months leading up to its then-cancellation, they were the first non-binary artist to play a non-binary character in Neighbours.
In three episodes, Kath was Asher Nesmith, a prospective partner for Nicolette Stone (then Charlotte Chimes).
Nic was looking to move on from her relationship with Kiri Durant (Gemma Bird Matheson) and was pleased to meet Asher, who was in a similar situation as her as a single parent.

Her mum Jane Harris (Annie Jones) tried to play matchmaker and invited Asher to be a +1 at a Ramsay Street wedding, though when the two realised they’d been set up, they weren’t best pleased.
They later agreed to meet up at an LGBTQ+ venue in Melbourne, with Jane tagging along for the ride.
Asher was struggling to find childcare, with Jane exclaiming: ‘Everybody please pay attention to my lesbian daughter’, much to Nicolette’s embarrasment.
Nic then came to the realisation that she would be stringing Asher along if she took things further, and their hopes of a coupling were quashed.
Neighbours was later renewed for a further two seasons on Amazon Prime Video, before being cruelly axed again this year, though Asher has not returned.
In last night’s episode, JoJo wondered what Kath would be making of the show, and explained that they would only be attending the live final due to being based Down Under.

CBB fans also saw JoJo and Chris receive a punishment – only being allowed to speak through a megaphone – after the pair had a conversation through written messages on Chris’ hand, which is against the Big Brother rules.
Contestants are only permitted to speak verbally whilst under the fictional dictator’s roof.
They were later hauled into the diary room, where JoJo was asked about the contents of the written message.
‘It’s something that I’m not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about but it has to do with gender and how do I feel,’ they shared.
‘Let’s put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females and love them but don’t feel like I’m them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.
‘I’ve met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary and these beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like. It’s not something that I want to say about myself yet but it’s something that is confusing. So, that’s probably why we were talking about it last night.’

Viewers then took to social media to share their outrage that JoJo was ‘forced’ to admit that they were questioning their gender identity.
@ExquisiteAlts wrote on X: ‘Fair play to JoJo for discussing a sensitive topic like this on reality TV. That took some bravery.’
@grxndesenigma wrote: ‘I seriously hope you all got jojo’s permission to air that!’
@elles468 added: ‘Rlly don’t think this should’ve been aired if she wasn’t ready.’
As the instalment drew to a close – and Trisha Goddard became the second housemate to be evicted – we saw an emotional JoJo reflect on their earlier conversation with Big Brother.
Drag queen Danny Beard was quick to remind them that they didn’t owe anybody an explanation about the subject.
