A special education teacher who was diagnosed with a chronic pain disorder following an assault has said teachers injured in work “should not be in a position where they can’t pay their rent or medical bills”.
Sophie Cole (31), from Carrigaline, Co Cork, is urging the Government to improve the supports provided to teachers who are victims of assault.
