Megyn Kelly is weighing in on Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s relationship.
“Oh, my God,” Kelly, 54, said on the Monday, April 28, edition of her “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast. “So, she shows up at these black tie events with him, wearing nothing. She’s basically wearing a bikini and he’s wearing a normal man’s clothing. It looks weird.”
“Who am I to judge? But I’m judging,” the journalist continued. “I won’t lie. It’s weird.”
Kelly raised the topic of Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, who have a 48-year age difference, on Monday’s podcast episode following the former New England Patriots coach’s now-viral interview on CBS Sunday Morning over the weekend.
Hudson interrupted her boyfriend’s sitdown with journalist Tony Dokoupil on Sunday, April 27, after Dokoupil asked Belichick how the couple met amid fervent interest over their romance. “We’re not talking about this,” Hudson intervened.
Dokoupil noted in a voiceover that the former college cheerleader was a “constant presence during our interview,” which some viewers saw as controlling. Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, for example, called the exchange “awkward,” while Piers Morgan wrote via X, “Mr Belichick needs a family or friend intervention asap.”

Kelly gave her verdict on the interview on her show Monday, comparing Hudson’s presence during the interview to a “music producer … as the band is doing a demo in a music studio, where the music producer’s like three feet to the left with the headphones on, running the controls. That’s where she was.”
“It’s weird for an interview like that,” Kelly continued. “If the spouse is going to be any place, it’s usually behind, out of sight, from both the interviewer and the interviewee, so as not to be a distraction. Not only was she in sight, but she was a constant distraction.”
For her part, Hudson reposted a series of tweets on Sunday that appeared to tell her side of the story after she received criticism for shutting down Dokoupil’s question about her and Belichick’s relationship.
“I see a woman who cares about her man and doesn’t want him to be screwed around by the media,” one of the messages on X read, which Hudson reshared with her followers.
“Nothing awkward about it. Imagine a private person wanting to keep their private life private. Shocking,” said another message that Hudson reshared.
Another user pointed out, “Bill looks like he wants to reach across and strangle the life out of the interviewer. I kinda wish he did,” which Hudson also retweeted.
Earlier this year, Hudson defended her relationship with Belichick amid criticism of their age difference.
“Love does not discriminate against sex, skin color, religion, age or ability,” she shared via Instagram in February. “Love does not fluctuate along with someone’s body weight. Love does not lie within a perfect complexion. Love is not as deep as one’s pockets. Love does not look the same every time you see it.”
Hudson concluded, “It is never OK to harass a person based upon who they love.”
