Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have had their double dates on display since the superstar singer started dating the NFL tight end.
Swift brought Lively and Reynolds along to a Kansas City Chiefs NFL game in September 2023, months after the pop star and Kelce started dating that summer.
Swift had previously been pals with Lively and Reynolds — who tied the knot in 2012 — for years. The pop star even publicly revealed the names of the couple’s eldest kids in her songs. (Lively and Reynolds are parents to daughters James, Inez and Betty and son Olin.)
Lively and Reynolds, meanwhile, have been supportive of Swift’s romance with Kelce. “It’s a lot of fun,” Reynolds told Extra in October 2023 after sitting in the private box in KC. “The NFL right now is reaching a kind of fever pitch, you know, that you usually only reserved for the Super Bowl. But, you know, here we are at the fourth or fifth game of the year and it’s already happening.”
Lively later became involved in a lengthy legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni, who she accused, in part, of sexual harassment. Baldoni denied the allegations. As fans have become obsessed with trying to figure out how Swift feels about the situation (since she was referenced in the docs, despite no official reported role in the movie), Kelce raised eyebrows when a Reddit thread claimed he unfollowed Reynolds on Instagram.

After Lively and Swift posed for a photo during Beyoncé’s November 2023 London premiere of her Renaissance documentary, fans quickly Photoshopped their partners into the pic. Reynolds reposted one user’s altered pic of him and Kelce via his Instagram Story in December 2023, quipping, “I feel like I should remember this.”

Swift, who had Kelce by her side, threw a star-studded bash at her Rhode Island home during a two-month break in her Eras Tour. Lively and Reynolds were seen packing on the PDA outside the home.

The couples had a double-date night at New York City’s The Corner Store in October 2024. Swift and Kelce held hands as they walked into the restaurant, while Reynolds and Lively navigated their way behind them.
Days later, Reynolds did a hilarious ad reading for Mint Mobile on Kelce and brother Jason’s “New Heights” podcast. “Hey Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. If you can hear my voice, it most likely means that you’re a football fan or a 30-something year old woman,” Reynolds quipped. “This podcast deal has an insane crossover that I’m not sure I totally understand but I think it’s great.”
Reynolds said that he’s a “fan of football” and loves watching a “player run the whole 110 yards” before scoring a touchdown. “Hold on, my producers are trying to get my attention. What? OK, apparently this podcast is about American football, not the superior sport of Canadian football,” he joked.
After the ad, Kelce gushed that Reynolds is “literally the greatest.” He added, “That was pretty sweet though. How about that? We get a little Blake Lively in the bonus video and we got Ryan in the ads, what else can you ask for?”
Kelce was referring to a previous “New Heights” episode where the brothers revealed they would be watching Lively’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and conducting a film review. Kelce said he was “excited” for it, despite not knowing the synopsis of the movie. “It has Blake Lively in it and she’s cool,” he said. “Watching films with people I met and I know.”

An extensive Reddit thread showed that Kelce was not listed as one of Reynolds’ followers on Instagram in April 2025. The user shared a screenshot of Kelce appearing to previously follow Reynolds, with alleged proof that he was “liking” the Marvel star’s posts in the past. Us can’t confirm that Kelce ever followed Reynolds.
Fans speculated that Kelce’s alleged unfollowing comes after Swift was brought into Reynolds and Lively’s ongoing legal battle against It Ends With Us star and director Baldoni. (Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment in a December 2024 lawsuit, which he denied. He fired back with a $400 lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane — who have all filed motions to be removed. The legal battle is set to go to trial in 2026.)
