Bill Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, is seemingly laughing off comments about their “awkward” joint CBS Sunday Morning interview — and clapping back on social media.
Hudson, 24, reposted a series of tweets on Sunday, April 27, that appeared to tell her side of the story after she received criticism for shutting down a question about her and Belichick’s relationship earlier that day.
“I see a woman who cares about her man and doesn’t want him to be screwed around by the media,” one of the messages on X read, which Hudson reshared with her followers.
The influencer revived her X account on Sunday hours after she and Belichick, 73, were featured on CBS Sunday Morning to discuss the former NFL coach’s new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons From My Life in Football.
During the interview, Belichick, who is 49 years older than his girlfriend, brushed off criticism about their age gap. “Never been too worried about what anybody else thinks. Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right,” Belichick said.
When journalist Tony Dokoupil asked, “How did you guys meet?” the interview took a turn. “Not talking about this,” Hudson interjected.

Dokoupil later revealed in a voiceover that the topic is something “neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.” The reporter noted that Hudson was a “constant presence during our interview,” which some viewers took as controlling.
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was one of the critics, tweeting on Sunday, “My Sunday morning routine is always coffee and CBS Sunday Morning. It’s a feel good show. The opposite of controversial. So image [sic] my surprise this morning when they had the most awkward Bill Belichick interview I’ve ever seen. Like I was squirming in my seat.”
Hudson, however, didn’t think her actions were too much, reposting a X message on Sunday that read, “Nothing awkward about it. Imagine a private person wanting to keep their private life private. Shocking.”
Another user pointed out, “Bill looks like he wants to reach across and strangle the life out of the interviewer. I kinda wish he did,” which Hudson also retweeted.
The former college cheerleader proceeded to reshare another tweet claiming the interview was not supposed to center on her and Belichick’s relationship — and that’s why she shut down the line of questioning.
“Or maybe she didn’t want her or their personal relationship to be part of the interview instead on football,” a fan questioned, which Hudson reposted. “I think if they don’t want to talk about [it] they shouldn’t and if anything — your article [demonstrates] why … trying to embellish and take things out of context.”
While critics like Piers Morgan said the interview was “utterly excruciating” to watch, Hudson seemed unfazed by the backlash. In fact, she spent Sunday on Nantucket enjoying the sunshine and ocean breeze.

“Lots o’ daffs & laffs 🌼💛☀️,” Hudson captioned a series of Instagram photos from the New England island. In the snaps, she wore a bright yellow sweatsuit, laid in the grass, and made silly faces while hanging out with a friend.
Hudson and Belichick are no strangers to scrutiny of their relationship. The couple, who was first linked in 2023, have faced ridicule for their age gap and lack of apparent shared interests from the start.
“Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked,” Belichick’s former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski claimed during Tom Brady’s Netflix roast in May 2024. “But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend.”
Despite the haters — and the jokes at their expense — Hudson has consistently defended the former Patriots coach and their connection.
“Let’s take a deeper dive into the hot topic of the day: LOVE’… ‘What constitutes love?’ or ‘What makes someone worthy of loving?’ are questions that require a deep analysis and could possibly enable one to understand the romances that they may not understand nor relate to,” Hudson wrote via Instagram in February. “With such a limited character count.”
She explained, “Love does not discriminate against sex, skin color, religion, age or ability. Love does not fluctuate along with someone’s body weight. Love does not lie within a perfect complexion. Love is not as deep as one’s pockets. Love does not look the same every time you see it.”
Hudson concluded, “It is never OK to harass a person based upon who they love.”
