A man in his 40s has been remanded in custody after being charged with hijacking and robbery in three incidents running from Walkinstown in Dublin to Rathnew in Co Wicklow on Saturday.
Joseph Rafferty (45) of no fixed abode was charged with hijacking a car on Saturday evening in the Walkinstown area of Dublin and then committing two robberies in the towns of Bray and in Rathnew in Co Wicklow.
