Gerry Adams sues BBC over Spotlight investigation into the murder of MI5 agent Denis Donaldson
A defamation action being taken by former Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams against the BBC over a claim he sanctioned the murder of former party official Denis Donaldson is due to get under way in the High Court tomorrow.
Mr Adams (76) claims the allegation, broadcast during the course of a Spotlight programme in 2016, was false and damaged his reputation.
