Rivalries that have underpinned so much of the GAA’s wholesomeness for years have been largely built on geography.
Given its landlocked location and size, Tipperary is bordered by more counties (eight) than any other and with its hurling team never too far from the top there have always been plenty in close proximity willing to take them out.
