Justin Bieber had a four-word message for the paparazzi harassing him in Los Angeles.
“This has to stop,” he wrote via Instagram on Thursday night, April 24, alongside a video of photographers flashing dozens of shots in his face as he made his way to a waiting car.
“Guys, can you back up please?” someone in the video asks the waiting paparazzi. One seemed to respond, “You’re filming me?”
Hours later, Bieber, 31, took to his Instagram Story to double down and later shared the statement to his main feed.
“Everyone telling me to move from LA. U think I’m gonna get bullied to leave where my influence is most needed?” he wrote to his 294 million followers. “How can we make a change if we run away from the darkness?”
“I too have been caught up in the transactional nature of Hollywood,” he continued. “It’s embarrassing but with that said I want nothing to do with that as a grown adult with a wife and son, I just want to be submerged in the culture learning from any and everyone. And be a proponent and advocate for LOVE AND EQUALITY.”

Moments later, he added a photo of a lion with a lengthy caption that touched on his faith and run-ins with the paparazzi.
“Can we as a unit align with how f***ed it is out here and change this s*** or are we gonna let these f*** boys keep treating me like s*** and not change laws or anything because people have had to die cuz of this s*** Princess Diana is the first that comes to mind smh,” he wrote.
Bieber’s social media spree comes as rumors persist about his life and marriage to wife Hailey Bieber. Justin and Hailey, 28, married in 2018 and welcomed son Jack in August 2024. Sources have told Us that the twosome have been doing well since adjusting to parenthood. Justin’s rep also denied The Hollywood Reporter’s claims that the singer is in debt. The claims were part of a larger feature that included some of Justin’s former colleagues saying they were worried about him as well.
On Thursday, Hailey shouted out her husband as she accepted the Beauty Innovator of the Year award at The Daily Front Row’s 9th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards,
“Lastly, I want to thank my husband for supporting this dream of mine from the beginning and for always cheering me on. Thank you,” she said.
Justin returned the favor via his Instagram Stories, seeming to allude to the rumors as well.
“Honestly if I was u, it would be hard not to be jealous of me and Hailey going brazzzzyy,” he wrote, per E! News. “It’s really up for us and that’s understandable why people can’t stand it.”
