Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton are one of Love Is Blind’s success stories — but that doesn’t mean their journey has been smooth sailing.
“Oh gosh, we had so many challenges,” Reed, 30, quipped to Us Weekly exclusively at Us + Maidenform’s Reality Star Style Awards party on Tuesday, April 22, at The Highlight Room in New York City. “Of course, staying together, but also, I would say with all the audience and all the eyeballs is definitely the hardest to go through and all of the opinions and everything.”
She added, “I would say that was 100 percent the biggest challenge. But then, you have your own everyday challenges that you go through in a relationship and a marriage. With everything, it’s definitely a pressure cooker, so you just have to be strong with yourself and with your relationship.”
Reed and Bolton, 30, got engaged sight unseen — following a dramatic love triangle with costar Cole Barnett — during season 3 of Love Is Blind, which was filmed in Texas. Once Reed and Bolton met in person, they faced a number of hiccups that resulted in a handful of on-air fights during their journey down the aisle. True love, however, persevered, and Reed and Bolton both said “I do” at the altar.
Two years later, Reed and Bolton finally moved in together. During the season 3 reunion, Reed had explained that they were waiting until their respective apartment leases were up to start house-hunting as a couple.
“We took our time,” the ballet dancer recalled on Tuesday. “It was actually a very easy transition. I always thought that the first year moving in with a boy would be a struggle, but no, it was really easy.”
Reed and Bolton, however, don’t have any specific goals in mind for their immediate future as a married couple.

“I feel like wherever the wind takes us at the moment. Nothing is really holding us down,” Reed said. “So, just kind of exploring our own careers, and we love Dallas. … We’re still really young. I mean, I turned 30 this year. So, still very young and going where the wind takes us.”
Reed and Bolton’s path also might include expanding their family.
“I actually have a ton of baby fever. I didn’t think I would, but every time I see a little cute stinking baby — and especially with Vienna,” Reed noted, referring to former costars Alexa and Brennon Lemieux’s infant daughter. “I think [Matt] definitely wants a bunch of kids, but he doesn’t really necessarily know what it takes. I would say I would have the most baby fever [out of the two of us.]”

According to Reed, she and Alexa, 30, have remained “so close” since leaving the pods.
“Oh my gosh, that child is the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen,” Reed added.
