The reason for Trisha Goddard and Tiffany Pollard’s on-air Celebrity Big Brother spat has seemingly been revealed.
Earlier this week, talk show legend Trisha became the second official evictee from this year’s ITV series, following Michael Fabricant getting the boot and Mickey Rourke being removed for inappropriate behaviour.
Trisha, 67, was visibly gutted to leave her fellow housemates, but it seems the drama is still following her long after her eviction.
On Tuesday night, she appeared on CBB spin-off show Late & Live alongside this week’s House Guest and Big Brother legend Tiffany, 43.
While filming, the tension between them was clear, leaving viewers and the live audience feeling rather awkward.
‘I’ve been used to studios like this for 35 years, and so I felt at home,’ Trisha told host Will Best as she reflected on her stay.

Jumping in, Tiffany told her: ‘Oh, that’s why you were so rude to me upstairs during the debriefing when you told me that I was small, because you felt at home to be rude to the HBIC.’
Trisha simply laughed in response, attempting to move the conversation on by telling her: ‘We’ll talk about that later, Tiffany.’
As the atmosphere became more frosty, Tiffany replied sarcastically: ‘She plays such a good game, the game is still on, Trisha.’
Now, after leaving fans stewing for days over what actually went down, Tiffany has broken her silence.
According to The Sun, Trisha made a ‘shady’ remark about Tiffany’s career.
Tiffany, who appeared on CBB in 2016, told the publication’s Celebrity Big Brother Breakdown podcast: ‘She was rude upstairs when we were getting briefed for the episode.

‘So basically, you know how they tell you, “Well, Tiff, you’re gonna do this and that.”
‘They were explaining my segment to me, and I was gonna be a news anchor. She was like, ”Oh, but it’ll be a very small-time news anchor.”
‘And I said, ”Well, you know what, sweetie? Do not throw shade up here at me; wait til we go downstairs and the cameras are on us because we can really go at it and have it be a TV moment.”
‘But then she goes, ”Well, that was really a compliment, Tiff, but you didn’t understand that a small-town, small-time TV host means that you’re good at it”.’
Tiffany added: ‘I don’t understand that. Yeah, I don’t know what she was trying to say there. You would think it was shade when she said it.’
On bringing the comments back up once they were live on telly, the American reality star said: ‘One thing about me, sweetie, I don’t bite my tongue. It’s too thick for me to do that.’

Trisha was evicted from the CBB house after losing out in a public vote to save against Corrie’s Jack P. Shepherd and EastEnders’ Patsy Palmer.
The host initially signed up for the programme to send a powerful message that people should not be ‘scared of living’ after being diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.
Speaking in her exit interview, Trisha explained that going into the house was a much-needed respite from her ongoing stage four cancer treatments.
She described her time on the show as a ‘holiday’ from the constant worry of her condition, allowing her to feel like ‘a child again’ and be ‘silly’.
‘It meant a lot—it was respite… I didn’t have to think of the next scan,’ she said, having planned her treatment around her CBB stint.
While she did talk about her cancer, having been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer 20 months ago, Trisha said the show gave her a ‘break’ from constantly thinking about it as she received palliative care.
While in the house, she had her own private room and a ‘bag full of meds’ with her as part of her ongoing treatment.
Reps for Trisha Goddard have been contacted for comment.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight on ITV1 and ITVX.
