Santry Fire at Temple Court

Firefighters and emergency services are currently at the scene of a high rise fire in an apartment block in north Dublin.

A spokesperson from Dublin Fire Brigade said it responded to reports of an apartment fire after 7pm this evening in the Parklands area of Santry.

Seven fire engines including a turntable ladder and emergency tender attended the incident along with three ambulances.

“At present one person has been transported to hospital. The fire has been brought under control and DFB has begun to scale back the response. The scene will be handed over to gardaí once firefighting operations have concluded,” they said.
