Giving away an autographed Taylor Swift guitar presumably didn’t leave her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, with any teardrops.
Kelce, 35, stepped out at his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes’ annual 15 and the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic Gala on Thursday, May 15, where a signed guitar from Swift, also 35, was on the auction block. (It is not known whether the singer donated the musical instrument herself.)
“I just realized I have that already,” Kelce stood up and quipped to the announcer, per social media footage.
The crowd quickly erupted in laughter as the Chiefs tight end returned to his seat. The guitar was ultimately sold for $15,000.

Kelce seemingly attended the charity gala solo after bringing Swift along to last year’s event. During the April 2024 event, the pop star even added a pair of Eras Tour tickets to the auction block. (Swift performed her record-breaking tour across continents from March 2023 to December 2024.)
“All right, all right, all right now! I think I was just talking to my significant other,” Kelce said at the time, taking the mic. “We might have one other auction item that wasn’t on the docket.”
He added, “Has anyone heard of the Eras Tour? There might be a fun game where there are four tickets to the Miami, New Orleans or Indianapolis dates when the Eras Tour comes back to the United States. Does that fire anybody up?”
Swift’s tickets sold for a whopping $80,000.
The Grammy winner and Kelce have been together since summer 2023, making their public debut that September at one of his Chiefs games. After attending many of his 2024 and 2025 matchups, Swift also cheered on Kelce when the Chiefs played in February’s Super Bowl — and consoled him when they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles.
“Taylor is supporting Travis during this difficult time and it’s just trying to be there for him as much as possible,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “The game obviously did not go as planned.”
Since then, Swift and Kelce have been enjoying their downtime amid their respective career hiatuses.
“Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye,” a second source told Us last month. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”
Kelce and Swift have been laying low in the months since the NFL championship, save for brief public getaways in the likes of Utah, Montana and New York. They were most recently spotted together during a Mother’s Day brunch with Kelce’s family in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 11.
