Tennis star Coco Gauff got some love from her rumored boyfriend after her epic three-set victory in the Italian Open semifinals.
Jalen Sera, who is rumored to have been dating Gauff since 2023, took to his Instagram Story after Gauff’s victory over Qinwen Zheng on Thursday, May 15.
“Warrior,” Sera wrote while sharing Gauff’s post about the match.
Gauff, 21, captioned a series of photos from her big win, “3 hours and 30 mins , past midnight finish, all heart ❤️🔥.”

While Gauff and Sera, an actor and musician, have never publicly confirmed their relationship, they have been dropping hints for months.
In March, Sera reposted Gauff’s red carpet look from the 2025 Oscars via his Instagram Story. “Regal 💫,” he wrote.
Gauff slyly posted a picture of the couple standing next to each other in November 2024, sharing a carousel of photos with friends at the Camp Flog Gnaw music festival in Los Angeles.
Before the festival, Gauff explained how the festival, which was created by Tyler, The Creator, holds special meaning for her and her boyfriend after the tennis star was name-dropped on the rapper’s song “Thought I Was Dead.”
“That was really cool. I was not expecting it,” Gauff told reporters at WTA Finals media day in November 2024. “It was crazy because he DM’d me congratulations over China Open [which Gauff won October 6]. We never talked or anything before. He liked my photo or something when I won [the] US Open.”
Gauff continued, “Then my boyfriend is like, ‘Watch, he’s going to drop you in a song.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, that would be insane. That’s never going to happen.’ Three weeks later, it happened. I was like, ‘Can he see into the future or what?’”
The tennis phenom first began discussing her boyfriend in early 2024, calling it her “first real relationship.”
“To just have someone to talk to who is not involved in tennis at all gives me a fresh perspective,” Gauff told Time magazine in April.

Gauff’s boyfriend played an instrumental role the night before last year’s US Open women’s final, which marked her first and only major championship win.
“I just called my boyfriend, and I told him let’s talk until it’s time to go to sleep,” Gauff said to reporters after winning the tournament, “so we spoke until 1 a.m. and then I went to sleep.”
Gauff’s boyfriend has also managed to win over her family — including her mom, Candi.
“My mom always said, if they’re bad in school, they’re probably bad as adults,” Candi told Time. “He’s always been a smart, nice kid.”
