Today, the Austin, Texas based blackened speed metal unit Sadistic Force is set to release their new EP Morbid Odyssey on August 22. To celebrate the announcement, the band has released the first track from the upcoming EP titled “Soft Flesh for the Dungeon of the Damned.” It’s all the sexy evil you could possibly need today alongside some pretty neck-snapping riffs. So overall, a pretty good time.
“Sadistic Force isn’t just another modern metal band—we’re a high-octane resurrection of metal’s golden era, dripping with raw energy, virtuoso musicianship, and a commitment to keeping heavy metal loud, fast, and unapologetically sinister,” said the band of the EP. “Our upcoming release, Morbid Odyssey, is our most refined and punishing yet.”
Morbid Odyssey was mixed and mastered by Noah Buchanan (Nunslaughter, Midnight) at Mercenary Studios and features blistering guest solos from Matteo Von Bewitcher (Bewitcher), Tony Rot, and Mark Pursino.
