Richard Satchwell (58) told Gardaí he was going to jail over the death of his wife as he warned he did not want “the secret (he) kept for Tina” over the domestic violence he alleges she had subjected him to over 30 years to be revealed to public scrutiny in court.
Mr Satchwell also warned detectives that, when he buried his wife with fresh tulips under the stairwell of their Cork home in a clandestine grave in March 2017, it was like “a genuine funeral.”
