Rockstar, David Draiman, halted his gig in Sacramento this week for a rather romantic reason.
The Disturbed frontman, 52, was nearly at the end of the gig as his band came to the end of their set at theGolden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on Friday, May 9.
Interrupting their show, Draiman invited his partner, now-fiancée, Sarah Uli, onto the stage and introduced her to the crowd.
‘Everybody, say hello to my lovely lady Sarah,’ he said to cheers.
‘She’s looking at me and she’s wondering, “What the f**k is he doing?”
‘Sarah, my love. You have made my life so much better. You are the light in the darkness for me.
‘I love you more than anything I have ever loved in this world, and it would be the absolute pinnacle of my life and my existence…’
He then got down on one knee and said: ‘Sarah Uli, will you marry me?’
Sharing the moment on social media, Sarah said in a post: ‘The happiest moment ever with the love of my life 💕 💍 We are engaged!!!! @davidmdraiman.’
Fans loved this romantic moment and took to social media to share their congratulations with the couple.
‘Mazel tov!! Was sweet to see this live tonight,’ butrphli commented on Instagram as the couple shared their engagement video.
‘That was so special …. thank you for sharing this special moment with Sacramento,’ said tina_baldassare1.
‘Congratulations to a great couple! May you have many wonderful years together!’ said jan_s_rn.
‘Was such a beautiful moment. Happy for y’all! Congrats :)’ said fellow rocker Jonny Hawkins.

David isn’t the first star to have proposed to a partner on stage. In 2022, Jack White proposed and married his girlfriend Olivia Jean mid-concert.
During the Taylor Swift Eras tour, many couples got engaged during Taylor’s Love Story song.
Sarah and David have been in a public relationship since January 2024.
David has been married before. He was married to Lena Yada, a model and actress, for 11 years before the couple finalised their divorce in 2023. The couple shares a son named Samuel, who was born in 2013.
Disturbed is currently on tour around North America in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their debut album, The Sickness.
