Offaly star Mairéad Teehan has called on delegates to listen to camogie players ahead of the vote on skorts on May 22, with Cork hurler Brian Hayes and Kerry footballer Síofra O’ Shea backing their calls for a choice to wear shorts.
Teehan picked up her award as PwC player of the month for April after an outstanding display in the Faithful’s Division 2A final win over Derry but matters on the field have been largely overshadowed by the skorts controversy in camogie over the last fortnight.
