In 2018, I applied to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for a commission to do a community project. I got it and it was to be based in the Mill Theatre in Dundrum.
When I went to the first meeting, the theatre manager, Kate Canning, suggested doing a call-out through the mailing list to the older population because they’re really supportive of the theatre and come to lots of the shows.
