Cassie recalled the start of her and Sean “Diddy” Combs’ relationship — including explicit details of their sex life — during his sex trafficking trial.
Cassie, 38, took the stand on Tuesday, May 13, testifying about her on-off relationship with Diddy, 55, which began shortly after she turned 21.
“I remember being introduced to the idea of oral sex. He basically taught me how,” Cassie said, alleging that Diddy kissed her for the first time at her 21st birthday party when he was her employer. (She’d previously signed a deal with his Bad Boy record label.)
Shortly after the birthday celebration, Cassie began getting invited to meetings in Diddy’s hotel rooms. The singer recalled thinking they were going to talk about her career, but instead she claimed Diddy performed oral sex on her and “made me feel crazy for not reciprocating.”
“I didn’t have the vocabulary for some of the things we talked about,” Cassie remembered, telling the court, “I was completely sexually inexperienced.”
While Cassie said she was dating someone else when Diddy allegedly started a sexual relationship with her, she quickly fell under his spell. “I wanted to be around Sean for the same reason as everyone else at the time,” she said, describing the music mogul as “exciting” and “entertaining.”
A few months after turning 21, Cassie said her relationship with Diddy escalated while on a trip to Miami. She recalled day-drinking on a boat with Diddy and claimed he gave her a “blue dolphin” ecstasy pill before they had sex for the first time.
“I had become one of his girlfriends after that trip,” she said, revealing that it was her “first adult relationship.”
Cassie said the relationship felt “monogamous” to her, but she later learned she was one of many women in Diddy’s life. “I think I was just enamored by him,” she said of the early days with Diddy. “We were just having a good time.”
Cassie met Diddy when she was 19 around 2005 and soon after signed a 10-album record deal with his label. They officially began dating in 2007 and were on and off until 2018.
While Cassie recalled some happy times with Diddy to start their relationship, she also described his alleged erratic behavior over the years. She claimed on Tuesday that if she made “the wrong face” at Diddy she would get “hit in the face” and be called a “brat.”

During her testimony, Cassie also detailed physical abuse she allegedly suffered at Diddy’s hands. She alleged she was often treated like an “escort” who was set up to “perform” for Diddy at one of his “freak offs.”
She claimed that Diddy videotaped her during sexual encounters, which she believed he would later use as blackmail. Despite feeling “nervousness” over the freak offs, she said she engaged in them because she “loved him very much.”
After their breakup, Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023 and accused him of repeated physical abuse and sexual assault during their relationship.
Diddy denied the allegations, with his lawyer telling Us Weekly in a statement, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations.” The rapper and Cassie settled the case out of court one day after the suit was filed.
In May 2024, Cassie found herself back in the public eye after CNN published a hotel surveillance video of Diddy kicking and grabbing her in 2016. Diddy later apologized for his actions in a video shared via Instagram.
Cassie’s case was seemingly the catalyst for the downfall of Diddy, who was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all the allegations against him.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement after the arrest. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Diddy has remained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest and has been denied bail four times. His trial began last week with jury selection and is expected to continue through early July.
