Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has promised to personally meet Russian president Vladimir Putin in Turkey this week after Russia offered to negotiate a peace deal.
His comments came after US president Donald Trump insisted Ukraine accept Russia’s latest offer of holding direct talks on Thursday.
