A former president of the GAA has urged that camogie players should be allowed to play in shorts, saying forcing players to play in skorts will create long-term damage to the sport.
Seán Kelly’s comments last night came after a week of controversy within the Camogie Association, with the continued ban on shorts criticised as “nonsensical” and “archaic”.
