Amid whispers of family drama, Victoria Beckham is seemingly in a good mood heading into the weekend.
“Happy weekend x,” Beckham, 51, wrote via her Instagram Stories, sharing a selfie while her hairstylist touched up her tousled bob.
Earlier this week, Victoria celebrated her husband David Beckham’s 50th birthday with a star-studded soirée in London.
“So wonderful to round off an amazing week celebrating @davidbeckham at 50 with incredible friends,” Victoria wrote via Instagram on Monday, May 5. “Still laughing and dancing after all these years!! We love you all so much.”

In addition to inviting friends, David and Victoria celebrated with sons Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, as well as daughter Harper, 13. Their eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, was notably absent along with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola’s alleged absence spurned speculation that the married couple are at odds with his famous family. None of the relatives has publicly addressed a potential feud, though an insider close to the family exclusively told Us Weekly that David and Victoria have had enough of the “drama.”
“David and Victoria are over it,” the source explained earlier this month. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing. David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same and approach life like a family, and the family does things a certain way, but Brooklyn isn’t playing it like that, and everything is a drama.”
While it’s not known why Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, skipped the festivities, a second source told Us that there are lingering tensions between the actress and Victoria. Feud rumors between the two women began circulating after Nicola didn’t wear a wedding gown from Victoria’s eponymous brand when she married Brooklyn in 2022. At the time, Nicola, Victoria and Brooklyn all denied that there was any bad blood or hurt feelings.

“I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, [Victoria] realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” Nicola told Variety in August 2022, denying rumblings of a feud. “She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it.”
The second insider, however, claimed to Us that the apparent tension “never really got smoothed over.”
“You can tell it still affects everyone,” the second source told Us. “The tension is still present, and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”
