Newark Airport suffered its second power outage in two weeks yesterday, losing contact with planes for 90 seconds.
An equipment outage at the air- traffic control facility which guides aircraft in and out of the New Jersey airport occurred at around 3.55 am, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.
