Leinster coach Leo Cullen has called for patience around Sam Prendergast after the heavy criticism the 22-year-old out-half copped in the wake of his side’s Champions Cup semi-final defeat to Northampton Saints.
The Ireland starlet was named the province’s young player of the year on Tuesday, but even that announcement was greeted with a negative reaction online.
