The Gaelic Players Association has made contact with Minister for Sport Patrick O’Donovan to use his influence to defuse any tension with the Camogie Association over the ongoing shorts/skorts controversy.
The Camogie Association has called a Special Congress for May 22 to debate and vote on a potential repeal of the rule that makes the wearing of skorts mandatory and allow players to have the choice to wear shorts instead.
