Kerry Washington Wows in Archival Fendi Dress for ‘Jimmy Fallon’

Kerry Washington opted for colorblocking in black and white on Wednesday for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City. The actress chatted with the eponymous late-night talk show host about her new film “Shadow Force,” her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony and more.

Washington wore an archival piece courtesy of Fendi, a dress from the label’s spring 2008 collection. The midi dress featured special circular embroideries in white.

Set against a black fabric with knitted details, Washington’s look incorporated classic elements with a contemporary edge. The dress included a halter neckline with the white embroideries acting as straps.

The same white embroidery motif was featured at the center of the bodice, and in a randomized cascading pattern on the skirt. As for accessories, Washington went minimal, keeping the focus on the archived dress from the Italian luxury fashion house.

As for her glam, Washington’s hair was styled in a sleek, wavy ponytail with bold fringe to frame her face. Her makeup included such highlights as bold brows, smokey eyes and a berry lip. Washington regularly collaborates with stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

Prior to her appearance on the late-night program, Washington attended the 2025 Met Gala on Monday. The actress was among a bevy of A-list guests and celebrity attendees for the annual event, which takes place ahead of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s spring exhibition.

For the occasion, Zangardi and Haenn styled Washington in a Simkhai look with Chopard jewelry. The ensemble featured a semisheer skirt and plunging tailored blazer with a backless detail.
