The Camogie Association is to call a Special Congress later in the month to give players the option of wearing shorts on match days if they choose.
It follows a sustained few days of protest and vocal opposition from players as a survey, conducted by the Gaelic Players Association and presented last week, found that the overwhelming majority of inter-county players preferred shorts and wanted the option to choose.
