The Leinster football final between Meath and Louth will draw an attendance in excess of 50,000, eclipsing the 48,875 present when they last met in a provincial decider in 2010.
General ticket sales were understood to have bypassed the 40,000 mark by yesterday morning, a figure that did not include some 8,000-plus premium seats, most of which are expected to be taken up.
