Stassi Schroeder is a reality TV veteran but even the Vanderpump Rules OG has her limits.
During a recent interview with StyleCaster, Stassi, 36, was asked what ran through her head when she took off her mic on Vanderpump Villa during a fight with husband Beau Clark. “Take this mic off because I’m gonna say s*** I’m gonna regret,” she said.” I know I have to be truthful here and honest, so if I just end it here, then great.”
Stassi noted that she was trying to “save” herself from her own behavior.
“It’s not easy to watch. It’s awkward,” she admitted. “Then to be like, ‘Wow, people are gonna watch this and make opinions and assumptions and pick it apart.’ But that’s reality TV. You have to be OK with people picking you apart.”
Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa, which premiered last month, included an episode where Stassi and Beau, 45, fought about his sister at length.
“Beau has a habit of putting his sister Georgia’s needs before anyone else — including his wife. Beau met his sister later in life so maybe this is just all him making up for lost time?” Stassi said in a confessional. “I try to pretend like it isn’t weird but it is f***ing weird.”

The big point of contention was the fact that Beau had a tattoo for his sister — but not his wife.
“[Your ex] Jax [Taylor] has yours. I’d rather not copy your ex-boyfriend’s [tattoo],” Beau said in reference to Jax’s infamous ink dedicated to Stassi, whom he dated on and off in 2013. “When you get someone’s name — who you are in a relationship with — tattooed, it is notorious for bad omens.”
Stassi got emotional when Beau couldn’t see her perspective. “It is time you get my signature on your body. It hurts my feelings,” Stassi, who shares daughter Hartford, 4, and son Messer, 19 months, with Beau, noted. “You can’t have your sister on your arm and not your wife and the mother of your children. That is f***ing weird.”
She continued: “It is a bad omen when you are in the beginning of a relationship or a toxic relationship. But when you are married to someone, it makes me feel really embarrassed. I am feeling really angry.”
After the episode aired, Stassi recalled how her loved ones stepped in to address the chaotic moment.
“It doesn’t feel like a blip when it’s on national TV,” Stassi told her friend Taylor Strecker on the “Taste of Taylor” podcast last month. “And when you guys forced me to go to therapy afterwards.”
Stassi went on to clarify that she didn’t have an issue with Beau’s relationship with his sister.
“That’s never been a thought in my brain. I love to joke about Georgia and Beau’s closeness, but it’s an Italian thing. Like, all the Italian people do it,” she added. “They link arms and hold hands with their brothers and sisters — and it’s f***ing weird to me.”
Stassi acknowledged it was “their culture,” saying, “I’m allowed to be like, ‘Hey, this is wacky. This is kind of f***ing wacky.’ I’m not mad about that but I need to call it out.”
