I never once thought when I began writing this column that for two weeks in a row I’d be complaining about women’s clothing. Last week it was ridiculous sizing and lack of pockets; this week it’s the skort, so beloved of the Camogie Association.
Anyone playing camogie has to play in this garment. To the unfamiliar, it looks like a skirt from the front, but really it’s a pair of uncomfortable shorts with a flap of material covering them to make them look like a skirt.
