Gerry Adams back in court as BBC defamation case continues
Gerry Adams has claimed under oath that a chief of staff of the Provisional IRA was “mistaken” when he stated the former Sinn Féin leader had been a member of the paramilitary organisation.
At the trial of his High Court defamation case against the BBC, Mr Adams also denied that his party ever operated under the instruction of the IRA.
