Any idea how much a new tractor costs? I’m not talking about a gee-whizz one with 500hp that can circumnavigate the globe with the touch of a button.
Just a typical 150hp machine that could pull 90pc of the kit found in any farmyard. Apparently the new rule of thumb is that every horsepower costs up to €1,000. So your 150hp tractor comes in at €150,000.
