Conor McCarthy will continue to work with the Kerry FC first team squad despite being replaced as manager by former Ireland international Colin Healy, whose appointment has been confirmed by the club.
McCarthy was under growing pressure in the last few weeks after a string of defeats and poor performances by the team in the First Division, and a 1-0 win away to UCD last Friday wasn’t enough to keep him in the job, as former Cork City manager Healy becomes Kerry FC’s third manager.
