No one can resist weighing in on Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s 49-year age difference, including the cast of Saturday Night Live.
In the Saturday, May 3, cold open, the variety series parodied President Donald Trump’s many executive orders. At one point, an advisor (Mikey Day) encouraged Trump (James Austin Johnson) to sign one order that would enact a fictional “Belichick Law.”
“Sir, this order will make it socially acceptable for a man in his 70s to date a 24-year-old,” Day stated.
Johnson, playing the president, then chimed in.
“That’s right, we’re calling it the Belichick Law,” Johnson, 35, quipped. “We’re gonna make girlfriends young again, OK? Old men can now date far younger women. We like that, it’s hot. But, in reverse, it’s quite disgusting, right?”
(In real life, Donald, 78, is 23 years older than his third wife, Melania Trump.)
Johnson’s comedic version of the president had more thoughts about Hudson and her looks.
“Did you see Belichick’s girlfriend?” he said. “She’s pretty hot, right?”
Former NFL coach Belichick, 73, has been dating Hudson, 24, since 2021, when they met on an airplane. Their relationship has recently raised some eyebrows after the pageant queen interrupted his CBS Mornings sit-down late last month.

“We’re not talking about that,” Hudson interjected when Belichick was asked to explain how the pair initially met.
Both Belichick and Hudson have since shut down the backlash — Hudson has been accused of controlling the narrative — by claiming that CBS was not supposed to ask about the Super Bowl champ’s love life.
“I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, The Art of Winning – Lessons from My Life in Football,” Belichick said in a statement on Wednesday, April 30. “Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book. Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book.”
According to Belichick, the interview soon veered away from the approved topics, which is when Hudson jumped in to “help refocus the discussion.”
“She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track,” he stated. “Some of the clips make it appear as though we were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021. Instead, it presents selectively edited clips and stills from just a few minutes of the interview to suggest a false narrative — that Jordon was attempting to control the conversation — which is simply not true.”
CBS, meanwhile, denied claims that there were “preconditions or limitations” going into the sit-down. “When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview,” a spokesperson for CBS News said in April. “There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation. This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed.”
Saturday Night Live airs on NBC Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET.
