GAA accused of forgetting its roots over trademark crackdown
The GAA has accused some companies and individuals of “seeking to line their own pockets” after the amateur organisation issued a series of legal letters over alleged trademark infringements.
Coaches, Supermac’s, clothing companies and non-profit associations have all felt the GAA’s wrath over the past two years, with a number of social media accounts suspended following trademark complaints to Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram.
