Reflecting on Donald Trump’s first 100 days back in the Oval Office, former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney has insisted he does not think the US is “singling out” Ireland, even as concern grows here over pharma and tech jobs.
“It just so happens there’s American pharmaceutical operations in Ireland and the Trump team would like those back in the US. We’d have the same attitude if they were in Canada or Vietnam or Australia,” he said.
