Kelsey Anderson isn’t the only family member with an epic love story.
After finding love with Joey Graziadei on TV, The Bachelor alum is happy to report her dad, Mark Anderson, is just as happy after meeting One Tree Hill actress Barbara Alyn Woods.
“I don’t think he ever watched [her] show,” Kelsey, 27, shared on the Tuesday, April 30, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “One of my sisters did so she knew who she was.”
As for how Mark, 57, and Barbara, 63, were able to connect, credit has to go to a team member who built some bridges.
“I think her manager reached out to my dad,” Kelsey shared with cohosts Nick Viall and Natalie Joy. “I think she saw him on my season with Joey and saw him during our hometowns. I think she was like, ‘I want to talk to that man.’”
Kelsey searched for love during Joey’s season of The Bachelor in 2024. At one point in the season, the influencer was able to invite Joey, 29, to her hometown and meet the family.
During the finale, Joey proposed to Kelsey and the couple remains engaged today.

While Mark and Barbara may not have met on TV, Kelsey is still impressed with how they were able to cross paths after a DM.
“They would talk on the phone for a while and then he came to LA,” she recalled. “They went on a date, and I think he thought she was cute.”
Previously, Kelsey shared a glimpse into her dad’s love life during a February episode of the iHeartRadio “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. While chatting with Bachelor Nation’s Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, Kelsey revealed her dad had been dating Barbara for several months.
“She is super sweet. She has great daughters. We got to spend Christmas with them all together,” Kelsey shared. “They are going strong, and he’s super happy. And now he’s in L.A. a lot because she lives in L.A., so I get to see him pretty often now, too.”

After officially becoming a member of Bachelor Nation as a member of The Golden Bachelorette’s debut cast, Mark got his taste of fame and attention from fans.
When asked if her dad has become “the slightest diva” after the show, Kelsey assured fans that he’s still the same great dad.
“He’s kind of awkward with it,” she said on “The Viall Files” podcast. “He’s very, ‘Oh my gosh, they wanted a picture with me.’ But sometimes, I’m like, ‘Dad just take the picture. Let’s move on.’”
