Dessie Farrell’s Dublin face into a difficult All-Ireland series group draw after they were paired with Connacht winners Galway or Mayo, the beaten team from the Ulster final clash between All-Ireland champions Armagh and Donegal and last year’s league champions Derry in this afternoon’s draw.
The Dubs lost to Meath in championship football for the first time in 15 years in Portlaoise last weekend which saw them slip to third seeds for the All-Ireland group stages and has put them into a tricky looking group though there is comfort in that only one side will be eliminated at that stage.
