Make some room on the f****** perch, Liverpool are back. They now share space with Manchester United, sole occupiers since winning their 19th top-flight title in 2011. United went two ahead with Alex Ferguson’s final fling in 2012-13 but with Jürgen Klopp’s Covid title and now Arne Slot’s dream debut season the rivals are together again, tied on 20 league titles each.
At earlier points in history this would be the only indicator of a club’s size: show us your medals. But this is 2025, so there must be a winner.
