Political Reporter Tabitha Monahan explains the ‘Grace’ scandal
The State’s General Solicitor for Wards of Court has issued an unprecedented statement in which she says her submissions to the inquiry into the care of a disabled girl known as ‘Grace’ were not “included or referred to” in the final report issued on the matter earlier this month.
There was criticism of the report issued by Children’s Minister Norma Foley after it found there was physical, sexual or emotional abuse at the girl’s foster home.
