Gino Palazzolo was willing to do anything to save his relationship with Jasmine Pineda — even an open marriage.
“Overall, after all this was done, I regret agreeing to open marriage,” Gino, 54, shared on the 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort Tell-All, which aired part 5 on Monday, April 28. “But I felt like I was trapped in a corner. Like, I had to make a decision, take action, because nothing was working for us.”
After experiencing a lot of turmoil in their relationship, the twosome, who tied the knot in June 2023, joined the cast of 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2, which aired in December 2024. During the season, Jasmine, 38, proposed they start an open marriage, which Gino eventually agreed to.
Jasmine began seeing Matt Branistareanu and the pair started dating while she was still married to Gino. She went on to announce her pregnancy and welcome daughter Matilda with Matt in March. Meanwhile, Gino confirmed he and Jasmine had split at The Last Resort Tell-All later that month. (Jasmine is also mom to sons Juance and JC from a previous marriage.)
Gino went on to explain that he chose an open marriage with Jasmine because he thought “it would make Jasmine happy and if Jasmine’s happy, I’m going to be happy because she’s not going to be attacking” him.
“Finally, we are both happy, right? We could get back together at some point, maybe start being intimate again and then get rid of the third person,” Gino recalled on the season 2 The Last Resort Tell-All.

Jasmine noted that Gino was onboard with their new relationship status and “was happy.”
“And he will always tell me, like, ‘Oh, tell Matt to buy me, like, a burger,’ and I will come back home with the burger that Matt will buy for him,” she explained before Gino jumped in, denying her claims. “This is a 100 percent lie.”
While Jasmine and Gino ended up parting ways, Jasmine still has a lot of love and respect for her former husband.
“I will never be able to hate someone that once I loved that much,” she shared in the episode. “I think that deep in his heart, he can say whatever he wants to people, but he truly knows how much I love him.”
Previously, Jasmine opened up about what it’s like marrying a man from another country, referring to Gino.
“Marriage is a big commitment, and when you date outside your culture, it adds a little bit of spiciness because there are things that are going to come along the way, and some of them might be problematic because everything is new,” she told Us Weekly in September 2023. “Don’t bring babies to the equation. It makes everything harder. Just get to know each other.”
