Celebrity Big Brother’s JoJo Siwa cosies up to Chris Hughes’ friends after dumping shock

JoJo Siwa beamed as she spent time with Chris Hughes friends just days after breaking up with her partner at the Celebrity Big Brother afterparty.

The 21-year-old media star made a splash during her time on the ITV reality series (in which she placed third) after forming a close friendship with the Love Island star, 32.

The show came to a dramatic conclusion on Friday with Jack P. Shepherd clinching first place but everyone was waiting with bated breath to see what would happen between JoJo and Chris after leaving the house.

In their exit interviews with co-hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best both of the housemates reiterated that they shared a ‘beautiful friendship’ and had a lot of love for one another – despite some viewers accusing JoJo of cheating on Kath.

Shortly after, JoJo’s now ex-partner Kath Ebbs posted a video on social media revealing they had flown to London to join her, only to be dumped at the afterparty.

Since then, The Dance Moms star has been spotted with Chris various times including at a golf club (where they presumably played tennis) and in a snap on Instagram where JoJo was surrounded by Chris and his friends.

The image, originally posted by James Halas was reposted on Chris’ account with no caption but both Big Brother stars were sat next to one another smiling widely at the camera.

In Kath’s video, they revealed JoJo told them ‘there were confused feelings there and they had realised in the house I wasn’t the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable with.’

The actor even mentioned there had been discussion about potential marriage down the lie.

Then, in her first social media post since Kath’s video, JoJo was sporting the same makeup as the finale night and used a voiceover video to proclaim that she didn’t need anything ‘but the UK’.

In a caption, notably omitting her recent breakup, she added: ‘What a 20 DAYS!!!! I’ve stayed awake all night seeing the love from you beautiful Britts!!

‘And hearing that you guys like seeing the other side of my life is a relief, I’ve been a bit scared to show that side of me,’ she penned in the caption.

‘Thank you to my mom for taking over Tiktok for a bit:) honestly I think we’re going to 50-50 run this page together now.’

JoJo had a turbulent time in the house, at one point sharing secret messages with Chris which she was forced to reveal to Big Brother were about her ongoing journey with her gender identity, something she was still working through.

And, at the beginning of the series, booted out housemate Mickey Rourke shocked viewers and his fellow housemates after levelling homophobic language towards JoJo, saying he could ‘turn her straight’.

Towards the end of her time in the house, JoJo revealed she no longer identified as a lesbian, but queer.

JoJo will appear on This Morning with Chris for their first joint interview since Big Brother ended where they may lift the lid on exactly what has gone down between them.
