Blake Lively gushed over Ryan Reynolds and Wrexham AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney following the soccer team’s latest win.
The Gossip Girl alum, 37, shared a heartwarming photo via Instagram Stories of Reynolds, 48, and McElhenney, 48, hugging it out as they celebrated Wrexham’s hometown victory over Charlton Athletic FC on Saturday, April 26.
“Back to back to back. History was made,” Lively captioned the photo. “Congratulations to @wrexham_afc I will never forget the love and elation in that town today. Thank you for sharing it with us always.”
Lively went on to reflect on the “love and respect” between Reynolds and McElhenney as they celebrated the 3-0 victory, which marked the team’s promotion to the Sky Bet Championship for the first time in more than 40 years.
“And to these two men, @robmcelhenney & @vancityreynolds …the love and respect that pours out of you each and together exponentially grows and creates more joy, more possibilities, more magic, more history,” Lively wrote.
“This picture feels to me like a painting of all you do for so many for being so present and appreciative of every moment,” she added.
Lively also attended the game at Racecourse Ground in Wales, U.K. on Saturday. Reynolds was pictured wrapping his arms around the actress and planting a sweet kiss on her forehead.
The couple’s latest appearance follows their glam date night at the TIME100 gala, where Lively subtly referenced her ongoing legal battle against Justin Baldoni.
“I have so much to say about the last two years of my life, but tonight is not the forum,” Lively said.
“What I will speak to separately, is the feeling of being a woman who has a voice today, and since I could speak, because of the pain, cautions and fight of the many women who have paved the way, and the men who stood beside them. Millions I will never know the name of,” she added.
