The multinational trio Calva Louise saw the release of their brand new single, “Lo Que Vale,” yesterday (Friday, 25th of April), with an accompanying music video.
Embracing frontwoman Jess Allanic‘s native tongue of Spanish, the track starts off rather soft and deceptive before Allanic screams and rages throughout the chorus. The music video features English subtitles that translate Calva Louise‘s questions about who has power in this world and our role as individuals.
Instrumentally, the track pulls from all corners of the world – American pop-rock melodies intertwined with Spanish classical guitar playing mixed with a Nordic metal blast.
This is the fifth single off Calva Louise‘s upcoming record, Edge of The Abyss, out on July 11th via Mascot Records.
